Contouring & Reshaping
Contouring
Cosmetic contouring can turn teeth that are chipped, fractured, or worn due to accidents, habitual grinding or age into a picture-perfect smile. Since we use special tools to minimize the loss of tooth structure, anesthesia is not necessary and, once the treatment is completed, you won’t need replacements or touch-ups, keeping the cost and time minimal.
Whether you have one tooth longer than the other, or your teeth have become more rectangular with age, contouring can soften the appearance, and give you the appearance of younger teeth. Achieve greater symmetry and harmony in your smile in one simple treatment.
Gum contouring can be as simple as removing some of the gum tissue to eliminate a gummy smile or more complicated, involving removal of both bone and gum tissue.
Reshaping
Tooth reshaping is a procedure to correct crooked teeth, chipped teeth, cracked teeth or even overlapping teeth - often in a single session. Tooth reshaping is commonly used to alter the length, shape or position of your teeth. It is common for bonding to be combined with tooth reshaping.
This procedure is ideal for candidates with normal healthy teeth, but who want subtle changes to their smile.
