Bonding
When teeth are fractured, uneven or have deep staining that whitening treatments cannot correct, bonding can make a dramatic difference in your smile. This in-office process allows us to affix a composite resin or plastic paste to the enamel of the tooth, sculpting the material into a perfect smile. The tooth-colored material is then hardened by a high-intensity light, and finally shaped and polished by the dentist. Best of all, this versatile treatment can be used to completely cover the surfaces of individual teeth, changing the appearance of an entire smile, or to simply touch up imperfections, such as gaps. The procedure is painless and anesthesia is not generally required, but bonding creates immediate results, usually with very little tooth reduction.
