This consultation is for patients that have a disease process and wish to address that concern via Chinese herbal medicine. As with acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine requires a few sessions to determine if the herbal formula that has been designed for that patient is effective. Chinese herbal medicine is not meant to be taken long-term and only should be taken when prescribed by a licensed acupuncturist.
